About the Role

Nacro is seeking a skilled and experienced Estates & Facilities Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Campus Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the college campus, ensuring that all buildings, including satellite sites, are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close college buildings daily, conducting thorough security checks to ensure the safety and security of staff and students.
  • Perform minor repairs, improvements, refurbishments, and redecorations to maintain the college's facilities.
  • Regularly inspect buildings, plant, and equipment, reporting any defects or repairs required.
  • Undertake registered keyholder duties, ensuring the security and integrity of college assets.
  • Prepare rooms for examinations, displays, and other events, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Move furniture, goods, and equipment as needed, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean rooms and communal areas, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order, ordering materials and supplies as required.
  • Drive college minibuses as needed, adhering to safe driving practices.
  • Assist with car parking duties, ensuring efficient use of parking spaces.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a educational or similar environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require manual handling and lifting.
  • DBS check required for this role.
