Estimator for Modular Buildings

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Management Recruitment Consultancy.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and pricing modular building projects, working closely with Tier 1 contractors and high-end clients. This will involve reviewing tender documents, producing accurate BOQs, and gathering material and subcontractor quotes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating and pricing modular building projects
  • Working closely with Tier 1 contractors and high-end clients
  • Reviewing tender documents and producing accurate BOQs
  • Gathering material and subcontractor quotes
  • Formalizing quotations to clients and producing project programs
  • Liaising with clients and subcontractors regularly
  • Attending tender meetings as required
  • Regularly liaising with project and sales teams to assist throughout the projects

Requirements:

  • 5 years of estimating experience within the construction market sector
  • Experience dealing with modular buildings, house builders, main contractors, roofing, or related products/industries
  • Experienced with construction contract forms (JCT / NEC)
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal
  • Commercially astute
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving license
