About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group.

This is a part-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday, with a total of 10 hours per week. The working hours are flexible, with two available time slots: 3:30pm - 5:30pm or 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dust, clean, and maintain surfaces, including walls, skirting boards, handrails, and window sills.
  • Sweep and mop floors, using the correct cleaning equipment.
  • Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
  • Mix and use cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
  • Replenish consumable items, such as soap and toilet paper.
  • Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
Requirements
  • IT literacy, including the use of tablets and smartphone apps.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
  • Local to the postcode LU5 4QP.
