The Role: Control Systems Engineer
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your key responsibilities will include attending client meetings, discussing design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning. You will work with Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, as well as other SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production, modification, testing, and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software
* Writing detailed functional design specifications
* Configuring system architecture and network connections
* UK site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)
For lead positions, you will have the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers for optimal output.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Previous control system experience (2 years+)
* Clean UK Driving License
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Experienced with PLC programming (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi) or SCADA development (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FTViewSE, WinCC, Clear SCADA, Iconics Package).
