About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team as a Project Lead. As a key member of our ecological consulting team, you will be responsible for leading various projects, utilizing your expertise in field surveys, assessments, and reporting while assisting clients through the planning and licensing stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication of recommendations.
  • Supervise team members and collaborate with other professionals to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop fee proposals and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Conduct field surveys, assessments, and reporting, as well as protected species surveys.
  • Lead Phase 1 habitat/UKHab assessments and develop written assessments (desk studies, technical reports, PEAs, EIAs).
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in ecology required.
  • Chartered or eligible for CIEEM Associate/Full membership preferred.
  • FISC Level 4 certification or higher.
  • BNG assessment experience.
  • Protected species licence (especially Level 2 bat licence).
