Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for leading various projects, conducting field surveys, assessments, and reporting, while assisting clients through the planning and licensing stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication of recommendations.
• Supervise team members and collaborate with other professionals to deliver high-quality results.
• Develop fee proposals and uphold high-quality standards.
• Conduct Phase 1 habitat/UKHab assessments and protected species surveys.
• Produce written assessments, including desk studies, technical reports, PEAs, and EIAs.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in ecology required.
• Chartered or eligible for CIEEM Associate/Full membership preferred.
• FISC Level 4 certification or higher.
• BNG assessment experience.
• Protected species licence (especially Level 2 bat licence).
