About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team as a Lead Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fund administration, private equity, and asset management, with a proven track record in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Fund Administration and Private Equity
    • Manage the financial aspects of fund administration, including cash and liquidity management, bridge facilities, and covenant reporting.
    • Provide financial support for private equity transactions, including fund closings, finance transfers, and Four-Eye review processes.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and manage a team of financial accountants, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including investment, operations, and risk management, to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in fund administration, private equity, and asset management.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
