This is a new Senior Carbon Consultant role that requires expertise in carbon accounting and knowledge to develop and set science-based targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering strategic ESG, TCFD and SBTi reporting projects, helping clients achieve their Net Zero strategy.
- Expertise in carbon accounting and knowledge to develop and set science-based targets.
- Managing and implementing relevant ESG frameworks and providing advice and guidance on implementing TCFD framework recommendations, which includes assessing climate-related risks and opportunities as well as climate scenarios.
- Research and keep up-to-date on ESG mandatory and voluntary regulation changes.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality meets the highest standards.
- Excellent presentation skills (written and oral) and ability to lead workshops, prepare reports and present them to clients.
- Individuals from a heavily regulated and complex work environment, who can come in and hit the ground running within a dynamic and growing environment, will thrive in this position.
- Comfortable building and developing strong clients relationships.
- Strong leadership skills required to drive success in managing complex clients and end-to-end projects.
- The ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines.
- The ability to work with senior stakeholders such as Board members, Heads of Sustainability, CFOs, CEOs, Risk General Managers and with multiple project and business teams.
- Have excellent written and communication skills.
