Job Summary

We're seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician to support our Technical Team in our on-site laboratory. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out various tests and analyses to ensure the quality and purity of our products. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that values innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out analytical and chemical analyses to ensure product quality and purity
  • Conduct environmental and plant hygiene swabs to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure that all stock is rotated correctly and conduct stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Perform housekeeping duties as scheduled and dispose of waste safely and correctly
  • Be competent in using lab databases and other software systems
  • Demonstrate competency in testing via internal and external monitoring procedures and conduct internal audits as scheduled
  • Determine and act on non-complying results by communicating with management and following up with re-sampling and re-testing
  • Respond to requests for product release and communicate with management as needed

Requirements

  • Be computer literate and proficient in using lab databases and other software systems
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Be able to communicate effectively with management and other team members
