About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Head Chef with experience in high-end standard fare. You will be responsible for managing high-volume, highly seasonal food operations, including openings and re-openings. You will also be expected to lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences.

As a Head Chef at Hall & Woodhouse Ltd, you will be part of a broader business training program, which will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in other H&W locations. You will also be expected to undertake training at alternative locations prior to the re-opening of the Red Barn in Spring 2025.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or pub environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain high standards in the kitchen
