Internal Audit Director

{"h1": "Internal Audit Senior Manager", "p": "At Smart DCC, we are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Senior Manager to join our Audit and Compliance sub team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading internal audit activities, providing independent assurance and guidance to the Board and the Audit and Risk Committee, and supporting the business in optimising controls and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a three-year audit plan aligned to our strategic and enterprise risks
* Execute risk-based and policy-based audits, or control-related projects
* Identify risk and opportunities for improvements within the role, function and business
* Liaise with stakeholders, including external auditors and Group internal audit
Requirements:
* Relevant professional qualification relating to Audit or Accounting
* Minimum 8 years' experience in an internal audit role
* Experience of operational and/or programmatic audits
* Effective communication skills with experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
* Strong report writing and presentation skills, and ability to communicate with impact
