Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team at the Education Authority. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving our data governance processes, developing and implementing data management solutions, and providing expert advice and guidance to our Directorates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and standards to ensure efficient information use, data quality, and appropriate security.
  • Use data governance and analysis tools to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Provide data governance-related advice, support, and guidance to Directorates.
  • Work with management to minimize data risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain data management competencies, such as data quality, metadata management, and master data management.
  • Support data literacy training and development.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data governance and analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills.

Working Arrangements:

This role will require occasional travel across EANI sites and may involve working outside of standard working hours.
