We are seeking an experienced Senior Events Planning Executive to join our Events team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh. This role involves handling and managing groups and events from the contract stage to the event itself, ensuring maximum revenue and utilization of meeting space. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning in a high-end environment and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple events and clients simultaneously, providing outstanding customer service.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a high-end environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
