Job Description

Senior Care Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Care Operations Manager to lead our care services team at Right at Home UK. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and quality standards to achieve an outstanding CQC rating.
    • Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including spot checks and service reviews, to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of care assistants, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
    • Recruit, train, and develop high-quality care staff to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our care services, including scheduling, rosters, and client care plans.
    • Manage health and safety policies to ensure a safe environment for both staff and clients.
  • Business Development
    • Work closely with the Director to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improve services.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Hold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care.
    • Previous management experience in the care industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care services.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Comprehensive knowledge of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores.
    • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
