Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a tax advisory division within a progressive and ambitious firm
  • Conduct tax planning and advisory services as a trusted consultant to a variety of clients
  • Deliver assignments related to employment tax
  • Oversee a substantial client portfolio, ensuring effective management of commercial aspects
  • Guide junior staff through mentorship, including reviewing their work and providing training
  • Evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and offering necessary training
  • Collaborate with Directors and Partners to meet deadlines and achieve fee recovery targets
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships, proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues
  • Stay informed on tax regulations, promoting knowledge sharing within the team

The Ideal Candidate

  • CTA/ATT qualified with substantial tax experience in UK practice
  • Strong understanding of personal tax compliance processes, challenges, and regulations
  • Self-driven and dependable, with a desire for advancement
  • Proficient in reviewing processes and enhancing systems for improved efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Experience in people management with a proven track record of mentoring junior staff
