Job Overview


About the Role


JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 firm in Taunton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling complex and high-value disputes related to probate, including claims under the Inheritance Act, challenges to the validity of Wills, and Executor and Trustees disputes.


Key Responsibilities


• Handle claims under the Inheritance Act, including disputes over the distribution of assets and challenges to the validity of Wills.


• Represent trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in complex and high-value disputes.


• Work closely with the team to develop and implement strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.


Requirements


• 2+ years PQE or CILEX experience in contentious probate or a related field.


• Strong knowledge of the Inheritance Act and related laws and regulations.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
