Job Title: Estate Administration Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solicitor to join our Estate Administration team in our Private Capital department. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on all aspects of estate administration, including probate, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on the administration of estates, including the preparation of estate accounts and inheritance tax returns.
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding the availability of reliefs and exemptions from inheritance tax.
  • Preparing and submitting inheritance tax returns and estate accounts.
  • Providing excellent client service and building relationships of trust and respect with clients.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in estate administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new databases and bespoke IT systems.
