About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality foot care services to our patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment of foot problems, including wound care and nail surgery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve foot health and prevent complications.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide a comprehensive approach to foot care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in relevant areas, such as wound care or podiatric surgery.
  • Minimum 12 months' experience as a Band 5 Podiatrist.
  • Previous experience in wound care and high-risk foot management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
