We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching key stage 3 & 4 students on a full-time basis, with a focus on delivering captivating and high-standard lessons that cater to the needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach English to key stage 3 & 4 students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
- Participate in departmental meetings and parents' evenings
- Degree-educated with a good classification
- Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc)
- Previous experience working with young people
- Experience of teaching in a secondary school
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
- Up-to-date Prevent awareness training
- Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training
- A supportive and collaborative school environment
