We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching key stage 3 & 4 students on a full-time basis, with the possibility of an ongoing contract.

• Deliver captivating and high-standard lessons that cater to the needs of students
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the English department
• Be available for parents' evenings and provide support to students
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a rich and engaging school community

• Degree educated with a good classification
• Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc)
• Previous experience working with young people
• Experience of teaching in a Secondary School
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
• Up-to-date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years
• Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
