We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our catering facilities, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food and customer service to our clients. This will involve developing and implementing strategies to improve our food offer, managing our team, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of our catering facilities, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve our food offer, including menu development and supplier management.
- Manage a team of staff, including training, development, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety, including compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports and accounts to our clients.
- Ensure that our company standards are adhered to, including waste management and energy efficiency.
- Proven experience of working as a General Manager in a similar industry, preferably in a contract catering or hospitality environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to prepare and present financial reports and accounts.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations and standards.
