Role Overview
The IT Department is experiencing growth, and we are excited to announce an opening for an IT Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will be an integral part of the IT Infrastructure team, focusing on the support and maintenance of infrastructure solutions and services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring service delivery and acting as a key escalation point for broader support teams.
This position will also involve participation in various project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure that changes are executed in a planned and systematic manner.
- Assist in the regular testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies and contribute to their continuous improvement.
- Support infrastructure incident management and resolution processes.
- Respond promptly to alerts generated by monitoring systems.
- Provide support to the IT Service Desk operations.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for infrastructure enhancements across the organization.
- Document best practices, process flows, and maintain the knowledge repository.

Candidate Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a comprehensive technical background and experience with most of the following:
- Active Directory Management
- Hypervisor technologies (Hyper-V, AHV, or similar)
- Networking fundamentals (LAN, IPv4, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Managed Switches, VLANs)
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages and automation techniques
- Experience with Office 365 / Exchange Online
- Windows Server expertise
- Familiarity with Windows (7, 10)
- Veeam Backup experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Linux/Unix administration experience is a plus but not required
