Port Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Port Operations Specialist to join our team at Stafforce, a leading provider of port and shipping services.

As a Port Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, covering a variety of roles and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate plant machinery, including forklift trucks, payloaders, shovels, tugs, and mobile harbour cranes
  • Conduct industrial cleaning tasks
  • Assist with cargo handling and storage

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid or expired Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
  • HGV licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge
  • Experience working with commodities such as steel, 1t bags, or timber
