Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) specializing in SEMH to join a successful and highly sought-after secondary school in Northwest Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a specialist team of staff supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support and supervision to designated students.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with pupils.
  • Communicate student needs and effective strategies to teaching staff.
  • Support the development, implementation, and review of Pastoral Support Plans, EHCPs, and IEPs.
  • Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Enthusiastic and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
  • Experience working with KS3/4 pupils.
  • Willingness to learn and implement new support techniques.
  • Ability to inspire and engage a diverse range of students.
