Job Summary: We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our team on an initial 3-month contract. You will be based at our Edinburgh offices a minimum of 2 days a week with the remainder of time working from home. Standard office hours are Monday to Friday.

About the Team: Central Finance (CF) is a team of colleagues within the Finance Division providing centralized support and expertise to the rest of Finance and the Business. The Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) Reporting & Analysis team within CF has responsibility for calculating and reporting the Group's Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support RWA reporting process and associated Data Governance
  • Coordinate the creation of regulatory reports
  • Prepare robust Management Information (MI)
  • Support divisions through intelligent insight
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships across CF and beyond
  • Deliver robust risk weighted reporting MI for internal/external stakeholders within agreed timelines
  • Consolidate and deliver robust data quality reporting

Requirements:

  • Finance professional with a track record of success in finance oversight and reporting roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of using Power BI, SQL, and/or Python
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes
  • Ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions
  • Delivery-driven and passionate about producing quality work at pace
