Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer is a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team at DHU Healthcare, driving financial sustainability and commercial growth. This role supports change management and innovation programmes, contributing to our collective strategic development. The CFO ensures the Company's ongoing success, financial sustainability, and growth while upholding our commitment to corporate citizenship and sector-led leadership of the services we deliver.

Main Duties of the Job

The incumbent oversees corporate support services, including financial management and reporting, the Programme Management Office, Procurement, Payroll Services, and the Company's property portfolio, including its development and Health and Safety initiatives. Through intent-based leadership, the CFO inspires and empowers others, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

By leading these areas effectively, the CFO indirectly supports patient safety and quality care delivery.

Financial Leadership & Strategy

As our new Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all financial procedures and reporting, contributing to overall management for profitability and growth. Utilise financial and commercial expertise to develop business and service strategies for future growth and stability. Strategically engage with organisations in the Health and Care sector, influencing key stakeholders, including NHS entities and partners.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development

Represent DHU Healthcare at Contract Management Boards, facilitating service developments and identifying business opportunities. Lead contract negotiations, procurement, and tender exercises, acting as the Executive lead on key projects, including the Green Plan and Change Management programs via the PMO team.
