Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in London. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting customer goods in an efficient and friendly manner. You will also be required to assist with the processing of shipments in the evening and ensure accurate recording of POD information upon deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and collecting customer goods in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Assisting with the processing of shipments in the evening.
  • Ensuring accurate recording of POD information upon deliveries.
  • Building relationships with clients by maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
  • Liaising with transport/operations to ensure maximum efficiency during the working day.
  • Unloading of vehicle upon arrival at Colnbrook facility, sorting the shipments in accordance with their destination and service type.

Requirements:

  • Fit and healthy, some manual work and lifting is required.
  • Previous driving experience in London and working to tight deadlines is essential.
  • UK driving license with no more than 3 points on driving license.
  • Experience/confidence of driving a short wheel-based van, or something similar.
  • Courier operations experience preferred but not essential.
  • Must be smart, clean and tidy and take pride in their appearance.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good command of the English language.
  • No criminal record.
  • Able to provide good references.
  • A stable work history with good sickness record.
  • Be reliable and trustworthy.
  • Able to work well in a small team and follow all company processes.
  • Have a friendly and can-do attitude always.
