As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in a vibrant primary educational environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing tailored support to students with diverse needs, including those with ASD and ADHD.

  • Working closely with students on a one-to-one basis to enhance their learning experiences.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a relevant qualification in teaching assistance (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) - desirable.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a resident.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children within the last two years - essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Two professional references from previous roles involving children.
  • A current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
