About the Role:
As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in a vibrant primary educational environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support to students with diverse needs, including those with ASD and ADHD.
- Fostering educational, social, and emotional growth through engaging and creative methods.
- Working closely with students on a one-to-one basis to enhance their learning experiences.
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Possess a relevant qualification in teaching assistance (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) - desirable.
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a resident.
- Demonstrated experience working with children within the last two years - essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Two professional references from previous roles involving children.
- A current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
