Job Title: Lead Animator

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Animator to join our team at 2K. As a Lead Animator, you will be responsible for leading the animation team and ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

About the Role:
  • Lead the animation team and collaborate with other departments to develop and implement animation pipelines and procedures.
  • Design and develop animation tools and systems for artists and animators.
  • Work with the engineering team to integrate animation data and implement game animation systems.
  • Communicate with designers and engineers to anticipate and advise on animation-related technical issues.
  • Setup and manage animation source data and engine-side assets.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience working with animation game systems and managing animation pipeline tools.
  • Excellent creative and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Computer Animation, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Comfortable with industry-standard scripting languages such as Python and DCC languages.
  • Experience building animation systems such as Animation Blueprints, Mecanim, Morpheme, or comparable systems.
  • At least one shipped AAA game.
