About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Drug and Alcohol Practitioner to join our Forward Leeds team. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, creating and implementing individualized recovery and treatment plans.
  • Facilitate and promote the progression of clients from initial engagement to sustained recovery and aftercare.
  • Support clients in various treatment stages, from initial assessment to exiting treatment, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community through collaborative work with key partners and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience of holding a caseload and working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of substance misuse and addiction.
  • Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care.
