The Role:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Material Coordination Specialist within our Supply Chain team. This multifaceted position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers worldwide. The Material Coordination Specialist will oversee logistics to ensure the timely delivery of parts, address material shortages, and manage logistics providers for incoming and outgoing materials.
Your Responsibilities:
- Address material shortages by coordinating with Operational, Heavy Maintenance, and Inventory Management teams.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
- Foster a collaborative environment and maintain regular communication with On-site Technical Representatives.
- Implement immediate recovery actions to minimize operational downtime.
- Act on critical requirements to fulfill customer needs.
- Oversee logistics providers for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Support contract management, drive performance enhancements, and escalate issues as needed.
- Regularly assess material inventory and locations, manage high-cost material inquiries, and conduct audits for data accuracy.
- Oversee the receipt process of critical items and ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Research assembly components using the Aircraft Maintenance Manual and IPC during material shortages.
- Assist the Technical Representative team/Manager with material location, work orders, and fit/remove support.
- Conduct a thorough handover and documentation at the end of each shift.
Your Qualifications:

Your Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Engineering or Supply Chain environment.
- Proven track record in influencing, communicating, and negotiating to meet customer needs.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Ability to adapt to change and manage innovative solutions.
- Skilled in data analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with Airworthiness Requirements and component documentation.
- Understanding of quality standards related to the receipt and dispatch of aircraft parts.
