Role Purpose
The primary function of this role is to deliver administrative and service support across various projects within the Service Department. The position requires the implementation of best practices in customer service and the management of potential service requests from the broader user/service community. The successful candidate will work independently while ensuring continuity for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the service portal ticketing system, including the creation and allocation of new tickets, and regular updates until resolution.
  • Conduct first-line activities and provide engineering assistance.
  • Maintain the telephone support service during designated hours.
  • Compile and present monthly KPI reports.
  • Engage with the user community to resolve any service-related issues.
  • Execute tasks in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Create, review, and maintain documentation related to activities.
  • Oversee end-to-end order processing and billing/invoicing functions.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee stock management, particularly for spare parts.
  • Act as the Health & Safety and First Aid representative for the team.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Business administration qualification or equivalent experience in a service-oriented discipline.
  • Prior experience in a service role with a proven track record of delivering quality product/service support.
  • Experience in organizations with robust engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Demonstrated history of providing excellent customer-focused service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team and perform under pressure.

Desired Skills:
Exposure to the nuclear industry is advantageous.

Essential Functions:

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK.
  • Ability to obtain UKSV security clearance.
