About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Land and Air Systems (LAS) Optronic business unit as a manufacturing technician. In this role, you will work closely with existing team members, Work Cell Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers in delivering the outputs from the relevant work cell as per the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation provided to the ISO 9001 quality standards expected in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to the defined company processes when carrying out all tasks.
  • Assemble and test opto-mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Setup and use of complex electro-optical tooling and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of calibration, ESD, optical handling, and quality control.
  • Able to read mechanical, optical, and electrical drawings.
  • Working to class 6 cleanroom standards.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills and be able to work as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Experience in working within an industrial/engineering environment is essential.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, optical, and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to assemble and test product to a high standard.
  • Awareness/understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Focused on meeting deadlines with good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative when required.
  • Ability to work and contribute as a team player.
