Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Remedy Education. As a SEN Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students who require additional support to achieve their academic goals.

About the Role:
  • Work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other additional needs.
  • Teach core subjects to students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents and carers.
Requirements:
  • QTS or at least one year's experience teaching and assessing in primary or secondary schools.
  • At least two years' experience working with SEN students.
  • Proven ability to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Incredible patience and ability to deal with possible behavior issues.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
