SEN Tutor Opportunity

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to work with students who require additional support in core subjects. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition to students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package for students
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and any concerns

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience working with students with SEN
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and confidence
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
