About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Governance & Reporting Lead to join a business-critical programme for a leading organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance on risk management and compliance to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure the organisation's risk profile is managed effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective governance and compliance practices are embedded throughout the organisation.
  • Provide expert advice on governance and compliance matters to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Governance & Reporting Lead in a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in governance and reporting software tools.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or professional certifications (i.e. CISA, CISM, CGEIT).
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry.
