Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Surgery Surgical Care Practitioner to join our Surgical Institute. This is a full-time role with a competitive benefits package, including 25 days annual leave, auto-enrolment pension, and private medical insurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Robotic surgery interventions and peri-operative care under the supervision of a senior surgeon
- Develop the team's surgical skills and knowledge in Robotic surgery
- Actively participate in surgical procedures at the direction and/or instruction of the Consultant surgeon
- Develop research-based practice, quality assurance in line with the Care Standards Act 2000 and clinical audit
- Facilitate junior members of the team with their CPD, setting goals, facilitating training opportunities and mentoring as appropriate
- Significant experience at a Surgical Care Practitioner level assisting surgeons through robotic surgeries, with experience in abdominal and pelvic surgery preferable
- Demonstrated skills in clinical decision making, clinical surgical skills, teaching, critical thinking, coaching, counselling, problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for team and individual improvement, skills and knowledge development and engage staff in teaching and training
