Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Colchester Sector: Highways

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to assist with setting-out and ensuring quality on a key highways project in the Essex area. The successful candidate will provide engineering duties for the section, including establishing level and survey control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sections of work and specific subcontractor packages.
  • Conduct quality checks in line with inspection and test plans.
  • Assist in drafting method statements, task briefings, and inspection plans.
Requirements:
  • Previous work on infrastructure or civil projects, including earthworks, highways, drainage, or utilities.
  • HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Cable avoidance training (desirable).
  • First Aid and IOSH/SSSTS training.
