About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regional Painter & Decorator to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of painting and decorating across our care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake painting and decorating duties to present our care homes to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment to meet the needs of our residents and colleagues.
  • Be responsive and flexible in response to changing needs within our care homes.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the Home Manager or Person in Charge.
  • Ensure the implementation of our Care Home's Health and Safety policy and Emergency and Fire procedures.
  • Undertake general painting and decorating tasks, including making good any damage prior to decoration, wallpapering, and painting of walls, ceilings, and fixtures and fittings.
  • Complete mandatory and specialist training related to your role to maintain and update your professional knowledge and competence.
  • Recognize and report any signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect in its different forms.
