About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist to join our dynamic team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by conducting laboratory tests and analyzing results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to diagnose and treat patients
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results
  • Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
