About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a Church of England school in North London. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students facing behavioural challenges, helping them develop positive attitudes and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students to help them overcome behavioural challenges and develop positive relationships with peers and teachers.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Act as a positive role model, building strong relationships with students and promoting self-esteem, resilience, and self-discipline.
  • Monitor and record student progress, sharing feedback with teachers and senior staff to inform future strategies.
  • Support the development of students' social and emotional skills, helping them navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements
