Development Manager

Fawkes & Reece (North) is seeking a skilled Development Manager to join their Land and Development team based in West Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Land Director to oversee the pre-construction land and planning process on projects where the company is the preferred bidder.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and agree heads of terms with external parties and work with the company's solicitors to negotiate land contracts.
- Appoint, brief, and manage external architects and engineers to prepare feasibility layouts that are efficient and deliverable.
- Work with estimators to develop and maintain viability appraisals and scope out and commission relevant surveys and reports to inform due diligence processes.
- Feed into and prepare approval papers, liaising with relevant departments within the company and across the Group.
- Experience in a development role within the construction, property, or housing industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead the development process.
- Experience of all stages of development, including legal, design, and planning-related activities.
