We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Surveyor to join our Occupier team at CBRE, providing expert advice and support to our prestigious clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Property Valuations and Negotiations: Conduct thorough property valuations, negotiations, and inspections to gather relevant data for assessing business rates.
  • Prepare Business Rate Estimates and Appeals: Prepare accurate business rate estimates and assist in the submission of appeals to challenge rateable values.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Engage with clients, build strong relationships, and maintain accurate records of assessments and appeals.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Business Rates Legislation: Stay updated on relevant legislation, case law, and regulations related to business rates.
  • Complex Business Rates Projects: Assist Directors or Senior Directors in undertaking complex business rates projects and liaise with local authorities and other professionals involved in the valuation process.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and integrate into the wider CBRE network.

  • General Surveying and Inspection Skills: Good general surveying and inspection skills.
  • Rating Software Familiarity: Familiarity with Rating software Riverlake and Analyse beneficial.
