Job Title: Social Housing Reactive Supervisor

Location: West London

Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 + van and fuel card

Job Description:

As a Social Housing Reactive Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our social housing units. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in responding to reactive maintenance requests.

You will be responsible for inspecting properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on housing-related matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising and leading a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
  2. Inspecting properties to identify repair and maintenance needs
  3. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  4. Collaborating with other departments
  5. Providing regular reports and updates to management

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in social housing or property maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  2. Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and renovation
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills
  4. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications
  5. Understanding of health and safety regulations in housing maintenance
  6. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
