Key Responsibilities- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care using a holistic and innovative approach to practice and to develop a plan of care that is women-centered and evidence-based.
- Support, supervise, and teach less junior staff, students, and support workers on relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.
- Competently use clinical equipment, undertaking relevant training as required.
- Participate in on-call rota system to support women who choose to labor at home and the Birth Centre.
- Lead professional in providing total care and support for women who request a home birth.
- Participate in programmes of parent education within the hospital/community setting.
