Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team as a Contract Field Service Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing first-class troubleshooting and repair support to a range of high-value electro-mechanical equipment based within customer sites across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support key customers through installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support.
  • Fault-finding and repairing electromechanical issues at customer sites.
  • Working to solve complex problems both internally within manufacturing and development departments as well as with sub-contractors and customers.
  • Escalation of technical issues to the management team and highlighting any design issue to the development team to improve product performance.
  • Provide support to customers, assisting and responding to remote technical requests.
  • Support the quality team to identify root cause failures on products.

Requirements:

  • A customer-focused Service Engineer with a proven background in a Service Engineering/Field Service Engineer capacity or similar.
  • Fault-finding/diagnosing faults on electro-mechanical industrial/capital equipment (board level not component level).
  • Multi-skilled.
  • The ability to travel to sites internationally on a regular basis (up to 90% of your time, Monday to Friday).
