GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant-Secondary to join our team of professionals in supporting students with challenging behavioural needs in secondary schools in Havant.

About the Role:

  • Assist students in achieving their academic goals by providing tailored support in a classroom environment.
  • Work closely with students in one-to-one or small group settings to promote positive behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Prepare and adapt lessons to suit students with behavioural needs, ensuring each student receives the support they require.

Requirements:

  • CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Education.
  • Previous experience in a behaviour support role or as a Behaviour Support Assistant-Secondary.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work with secondary students, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
