Position Overview: In this role, you will oversee the swift development of innovative cosmetic and cosmeceutical formulations, as well as the formulation of topical pharmaceutical products and medical devices.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating across various departments to propel projects from initial concept through to market launch, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality, safety, and efficacy standards.


Key Responsibilities:


- Design and develop effective formulations in alignment with project specifications.
- Thoroughly document all research and development processes while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Collaborate within a team environment to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both existing and new product development.
- Participate in production-scale trials to facilitate a seamless transition from development to commercial production.
- Support clinical and pilot studies as required.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends and scientific advancements through research and participation in trade shows, identifying potential opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.


Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in cosmetic or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Proven experience in the formulation development of skincare or personal care products, specifically topical or transdermal formulations, ideally within the cosmetics or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients and their interactions.
- Familiarity with regulations pertaining to cosmetics, medicinal products, or medical devices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques.
- A commitment to continuous learning and a proactive growth mindset.
- Excellent skills in report writing.
