About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our construction plant workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, while also leading and managing a team of skilled workshop technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of construction plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled workshop technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Manage parts and equipment inventory, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance while controlling costs.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of maintenance and repairs, prioritizing tasks to meet operational demands.
  • Address technical issues promptly, providing solutions to keep machinery operational and projects on track.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a workshop management role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction plant machinery, maintenance processes, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with different departments.
