Position Overview

Vehicle Maintenance Technician Opportunity
Compensation: Up to £21 per hour Basic
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm & Every other Saturday 7am to 12pm.

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician for our client's facility.

This role presents an exciting chance for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to become part of a modern workshop, collaborate with a supportive team, and benefit from training and advancement opportunities while earning a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In the workshop, your primary responsibility as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician will involve the removal, reinstallation, or repair of components, whether mechanical, electrical, or trim-related.
  • Executing all necessary repair tasks on vehicles before they are handed over to the Panel Beaters or Paint Sprayers.
  • Ensuring that each vehicle is repaired to a high standard and complies with all safety regulations.
  • Evaluating the required work on the vehicle to determine if repairs can be made or if new parts are necessary.
  • Identifying and documenting any additional work that may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a full qualification as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, holding the ATA and NVQ level 3 MET repair certification; however, we will consider candidates with extensive experience who can demonstrate a high level of skill.
  • At a minimum, we will consider a Vehicle Technician with experience in Strip and Fit.
